Anita Ekberg is a Swedish actress from Sweden. She appeared in various films, including European and American. The most famous of her roles was acting in the film "La Dolce Via," the comedy-drama film. The film was both a critical and commercial success, as as winning an Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. The actress was born in Skane where she worked as an actress before beginning the acting profession. The model was the winner of the Miss Sweden competition. She moved to the US in the year 2000, where she began to appear in various films as minor characters. The role she played was Venusian Guard in the movie 'Abbott and Costello's Trip to Mars.' This was her debut credit part. In the movie 'Blood Alley her film, she took home the Golden Globe Award for 'Most promising young actor.' In her long career, she appeared in various other movies, such as the film 'War and Peace', which is an American-Italian war movie 'War and Peace', The Western movie 'Valerie', and the British adventure crime film 'The Man Inside The Man Inside' and the French-Italian drama 'The Dam On the Yellow River'.
