Charissa Thompson

Thompson left FOX Sports in the year 2010 and performed double duty hosting both Versus as well as Yahoo Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage and also recorded web-based video for the incredibly popular Yahoo platform. She was also responsible for Yahoo Sports' presence at major sporting events like those of the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV as well as the BCS National Championship. Achieving success in both areas resulted in her being a part of ESPN in August 2011, and she was promoted to host of ESPN's newest afternoon show "Numbers Never Lie." In July 2012, she made the transition to the show that became known as "SportsNation," enjoying a long-lasting and successful show that ran until she left ESPN to go back to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May 2013. Being a huge sports enthusiast, Thompson has also shown the impressive versatility to cross over into the entertainment realm of TV. Thompson was hired as the co-host for the Hollywood magazine "Extra" on June of 2014 after a variety of temporary jobs.
