Kari Wuhrer was born April 28th, 1967. She is an American performer and singer. She began her professional career as a teenager. She is recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and also as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a auto salesman. The couple has three brothers. She started singing at clubs as a teenager, and would sneak out of her home to perform. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School at the age of 13, she studied drama in the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Then, she took classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the famed Uta Hagen. She was born in Brookfield on the 28th of April on the 28th of April, 1967. Her German-American dad is also a car dealer and police officer. Kari has three brothers and sisters. As a teenager her nightclub, she performed and then slipped away for performances. Kari started studying acting when she was 13. She then studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, along with Uta Hagen, who is a well-known teacher. Kari began acting when she was as a teenager, and her first break on television coming on the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
