Anita Saarkessian

Anita Sarkeesian was born in Canada and raised in the United States. She's been a media critic since 1995. Feminist Frequency is a site that hosts videos and commentaries on the representation of women in pop culture. Anita Sarkeesian was a Canadian as well as an American feminist media critic. The ambitious lady planned to create a web series on gender-based representations in video games. She was the subject of a harassment online campaign.
