Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multicultural family. Born within South London. She is English but her father is Nigerian. She grew in a south London council estate, as a teenager, she 14, attended The Brit School. She earned her BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While at the school, she was a part-time actor in several stage productions such as the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her career as an actress through the film Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. After the film's success, Madekwe was cast as Elisha in the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared for six seasons Trexx and Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi on the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). Her stage credits include Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes on The CW, and was later cancelled. In February of 2011 she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. In May of 2013, it was announced that Madekwe, who appeared on the show as a series regular for the past two seasons, was to leave the series with a guest appearance on the premier episode of the season's new episode. In the TV series Salem the actress played Tituba between 2014 and the year 2016. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty along with her older brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's athletic brothers played baseball in summer as well as hockey in winter. Ashley didn't walk, instead she was a dancer. When she was two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre as well as pointe until the time she completed high school. Ashley was awarded the top soloist honor at each major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention the few.
